The Battery Management System (BMS) monitors and controls the operation of the 48V battery. An internal BMS fault, communication failure or power-supply problem can prevent the battery from operating correctly and may cause warning messages, starting problems or loss of certain vehicle functions.
We carry out detailed testing to identify whether the fault is located within the 48V battery management electronics and whether the unit is suitable for repair.

Q: What information do you need before I purchase the service?

Q: Do you need the complete vehicle?

A: Yes, but do not send the battery before contacting us.
Q: Can every Audi 48V battery be repaired?

Q: Does the service include coding?

Q: How long does the repair take?
A: In many cases, we can complete the repair on the same day. But the timescale depends on the fault, battery version and availability of any required components. We can provide an estimated timescale after the initial assessment.
Q: Will clearing the fault codes fix the battery?
A: It will not. If the BMS has an internal electronic or communication fault, the underlying problem must be diagnosed and repaired. Simply clearing the stored errors will not resolve a permanent fault.
Q: Does this service include BSG or starter-generator repair?
A: No. This product is exclusively for Audi 48V lithium battery and BMS diagnostics and repair. BSG and starter-generator repairs are offered separately and are not included in this service.
