Description
Side Assist calibration at our workshop in Redditch for supported Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Škoda vehicles. We check the vehicle specification and fault information before confirming the appropriate procedure. A printout of the calibration results is supplied after successful completion.
When is Side Assist calibration needed?
Calibration may be required after sensor replacement, accident repairs, suspension changes, lowering or a diagnostic fault indicating incorrect adjustment. The correct procedure depends on the model, equipment and repair history.
A warning does not always mean that calibration alone will solve the problem. A faulty component, damaged mounting or another vehicle fault may require diagnosis and repair first. Genuine OEM replacement parts can be supplied on request, subject to suitability and availability.
Vehicle preparation
- Remove tools, luggage and other unnecessary weight.
- Arrive with the fuel tank more than three-quarters full, as required for this service.
- Have wheel alignment completed correctly after accident damage or lowering.
- At least 20 mm of clearance between the wheel arch and wheel is required for the equipment clamps.

Side Assist calibration cost and payment
The displayed calibration price is £200 excluding VAT. Additional diagnosis, repairs or parts are discussed separately if required. Work normally takes approximately one to two hours, depending on the vehicle and work needed.
Payment is taken at the workshop on the day, not online. Please contact us before booking. If this service is paid for through the website, that payment is refunded the same day; the required work and payment are confirmed at the workshop.
