Module Repair Services

Module repair for selected vehicle electronics, including airbag ECUs, Audi 48V battery BMS units, starter generators, BCM modules, BMW FRM3 and SOS systems.

Electronic faults need accurate identification before parts are sent or removed. Start by sending the 17-character VIN, fault codes and a clear description of the symptoms. We will confirm whether the unit is supported and whether the service is workshop-based or mail-in.

Module repair for Audi 48V battery BMS

Module repair matched to the fault

The same warning message can be caused by different faults. A useful enquiry includes the VIN, diagnostic trouble codes, previous repair history and whether the vehicle still starts or communicates with the affected unit.

We confirm the supported repair route before work begins. Where appropriate, the repaired unit is tested and returned for refitting, or the complete vehicle is checked at our Redditch workshop.

Airbag ECU module repair

Selected airbag control units can be assessed for crash-data reset or electronic repair, depending on the part number and fault condition.

48V battery and starter-generator repairs

Services cover selected Audi 48V battery BMS faults and belt starter-generator units, subject to diagnostic and part-number checks.

BCM, FRM and SOS electronics

Supported services include selected BCM2, BMW FRM3 and emergency-call system faults.

Module repair FAQs

Can every control unit be repaired?

No. Support depends on the part number, hardware condition and type of failure. We check these details before accepting work.

Do you need the whole vehicle?

Some services are mail-in repairs; others require the vehicle for diagnosis, coding or testing. The product page and quotation explain the correct route.

Is an airbag warning always an ECU fault?

No. Wiring, sensors, power supply and other components can also cause warnings. Diagnostic evidence is required before choosing a service.

Will a repaired unit need coding?

That depends on the module and repair route. We explain any refitting or coding requirement before the work is accepted.

Check suitability for module repair

Send the 17-character VIN, fault codes, symptoms and a clear photograph of the module label. We will confirm whether the service is supported and what is required next.
