MIB3 App-Connect, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation and voice control activation for compatible Volkswagen, SEAT, Škoda and MAN TGE vehicles. The service is completed by coding the vehicle’s existing factory MIB3 navigation system at our specialist workshop in Redditch.

MIB3 App-Connect activation and CarPlay

We activate the supported functions already available within the vehicle’s factory MIB3 system. Depending on the vehicle specification and software version, this can include App-Connect or Full Link, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice control and factory navigation.

This is a workshop coding service. No replacement infotainment unit or physical parts are supplied, and nothing will be posted.

Compatible Volkswagen Group vehicles

This service is intended for selected Volkswagen, SEAT, Škoda and MAN TGE vehicles fitted with the MIB3 navigation system, generally from model years 2020–2024. Compatibility depends on the installed hardware, software version and vehicle specification.

Please send the 17-character VIN and a photograph of the system information screen before booking. We will check compatibility and confirm which functions can be activated.

Workshop coding and testing

The activation is completed at our Redditch workshop and normally takes approximately one hour. The exact time can vary according to the vehicle, software version and functions being enabled.

After coding, we test the activated functions on the factory infotainment system. If a requested feature is not supported by the fitted hardware or software, we will explain the available options before carrying out further work.
