Description

SEAT Ateca Lane Assist retrofit with a windscreen-mounted front assistance camera. For supported vehicles, the upgrade adds Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and High Beam Assist, with installation, coding and camera calibration at our Redditch workshop.

Driver-assistance functions

• Lane Assist: provides steering assistance when suitable lane markings are detected
• Traffic Sign Recognition: displays recognised road signs and speed-limit information on supported configurations
• High Beam Assist: automatically controls the high beams according to detected traffic and operating conditions

These systems assist the driver; they do not make the vehicle autonomous. Operation depends on visibility, road markings and the vehicle configuration. Always remain in control and follow actual road signs.

What the price includes

The price is £1150 excluding VAT for the supported front-camera retrofit with a genuine non-heated windscreen, fitting, coding and calibration. A heated windscreen costs more and requires a separate quotation.

If you wish to arrange the windscreen replacement yourself, contact us first to agree the correct specification and an adjusted price. Do not fit a screen before we have confirmed the requirements.

Vehicle requirements

This package requires suitable navigation and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). If either is missing, we can discuss separate retrofit options; these are not included in the listed price. Suitable cars may have analogue instruments or a Virtual Cockpit, with display details varying by equipment.

Workshop booking and availability

This is a workshop-only installation; no kit is posted to you. Allow approximately 6–8 hours, including the required windscreen bonding time. Parts are ordered for the job and typically take 3–21 working days, subject to availability. We confirm the appointment with you.
