VW Touran Lane Assist retrofit with a non-heated replacement windscreen, camera fitting, coding and calibration for £1,150 + VAT. Navigation and ACC required. Heated glass quoted separately. Workshop only; send your VIN first.

Description

VW Touran Lane Assist retrofit at VW Retrofit in Redditch. Add a windscreen-mounted driver-assistance camera to a compatible vehicle, with fitting, coding and camera calibration completed in our workshop.

Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and High Beam Assist

  • Lane Assist: provides steering assistance when suitable lane markings are detected.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition: displays recognised road signs, including speed limits, using the camera and the vehicle’s supported navigation system.
  • High Beam Assist: switches between high and dipped beam when the system detects relevant traffic and lighting conditions.

These are assistance features, not autonomous driving. You must stay attentive, keep control of the vehicle and check road signs yourself. Displays vary by instrument cluster and vehicle specification; the photographs show examples.

Price, windscreen and compatibility

The advertised price is £1,150 + VAT. The retrofit includes the camera installation, a suitable genuine replacement windscreen, workshop fitting, coding and calibration.

£1,150 + VAT is for a non-heated windscreen. Heated glass costs more and requires a separate quotation. The vehicle must have a compatible navigation system and adaptive cruise control (ACC) for this package.

If navigation or ACC is missing, contact us about the additional retrofit work. Compatible analogue instrument clusters and Virtual Cockpit are supported; we confirm the exact specification before ordering parts.

If you want to arrange the windscreen installation yourself, contact us first to agree the required glass and a revised quotation. Do not order or fit a screen before compatibility has been checked.

Workshop appointment

Parts are ordered for the vehicle; allow approximately 3–21 working days for availability, which we confirm before booking. Please leave the vehicle with us for approximately 6–8 hours, including the windscreen bonding time.

Workshop service only: nothing is posted and this is not a remote coding service.
