Golf MK7 Lane Assist retrofit with a genuine OEM windscreen-mounted camera, supplied and installed at our workshop in Redditch. This upgrade is available for compatible Volkswagen Golf MK7 and MK7.5 vehicles and adds Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and High Beam Assist.

What the Golf MK7 Lane Assist retrofit includes

The price of £1,150 + VAT includes:

• Genuine OEM front assistance camera and the parts required for installation
• Supply and replacement of a genuine OEM, non-heated windscreen
• Workshop installation and vehicle-specific coding
• Camera calibration and operational checks

This is a workshop-fitted upgrade, not a mail-order kit. Please contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility and arrange your appointment.

Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and High Beam Assist

• Lane Assist: provides steering assistance when the system detects suitable lane markings, helping the driver stay within the lane.
• Traffic Sign Recognition: displays recognised road signs, including speed limits, on the vehicle’s supported display.
• High Beam Assist: automatically switches between high and dipped beam according to detected traffic and operating conditions.

These are driver-assistance functions, not autonomous driving. The driver must remain attentive and in control. System operation depends on road markings, visibility and vehicle equipment.

Golf MK7 and MK7.5 compatibility

Your vehicle must already have factory navigation and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) for this upgrade. It can work with compatible analogue instrument clusters or Virtual Cockpit, although menus and graphics vary with the vehicle’s equipment.

Windscreen options and ordering

Windscreen replacement is required. The advertised price includes a non-heated OEM windscreen. If your vehicle has a heated windscreen, contact us for a quotation before ordering.

If you wish to arrange your own windscreen installation, speak to us first so we can confirm the correct specification and adjust the quotation. Parts are ordered for each upgrade; availability, lead time and applicable ordering terms will be confirmed before you proceed.
