Upgrade your car with a brand-new Highline rear-view camera featuring moving guidelines and integration with the vehicle’s infotainment display. The complete package costs £420 + VAT, including the camera kit, fitting and coding at our workshop in Redditch.
Audi A3 reverse camera compatibility
This product is for the Audi A3 8V generation. Compatibility depends on the model version and factory equipment, so please send your VIN before ordering.
- Facelift A3 8V, 2017 onwards: parking sensors are required.
- Pre-facelift A3 8V: factory-fitted satellite navigation is required for this retrofit.
The “2017 onwards” description applies to the 8V facelift, not every later A3 generation. If you are unsure which version or infotainment system your car has, include a photo of the dashboard screen with your enquiry. We will check suitability before arranging installation.
Highline rear-view camera with moving guidelines
The Highline camera provides a view of the area behind your car through the infotainment screen. Its moving guidelines help you judge your reversing path when manoeuvring into a parking space.
The retrofit adds a useful visual aid alongside the vehicle’s existing parking equipment. Always check your surroundings when reversing; the camera does not replace the driver’s observation.

The photos show the camera integrated into a boot-handle assembly together with its wiring. The correct parts for your vehicle are confirmed during the compatibility check.
Workshop installation and booking
Please allow approximately 2 hours for fitting and coding. This is a workshop-only service: no kit is posted after purchase, and the car must be brought to VW Retrofit in Redditch for installation.
